In July, we announced that Black Oak would be participating in the University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s UALR Institute for Chief Data Officers’ (iCDO@UALR) first Chief Data Officer (CDO) Training, “Course CDO-1: CDO Foundations” offered at UALR from September 26 to 29, 2016. The course filled up quickly, so by popular demand, CDO Foundations will be offered again at UALR in Spring 2017.
Next week during the training, Black Oak Analytics will be providing both access and training for our HiPER entity resolution software as part of the course to demonstrate best practices in data integration strategies and techniques to the attendees.
During the training, attendees will be able to learn not just about data integration, but gain hands on experience in designing and running entity resolution and identity management solutions—vital parts of entity identity information management, master data management, and data governance. Black Oak’s team of experienced data scientists, analysts, and developers led by Senior Data Scientist Dr. Fumiko Kobayashi will be on hand to setup the exercise, assist with the training, and work with CDOs trainees one-on-one. We look forward to meeting these first classes of UALR iCDO trainees, and working with current (and future) CDOs from around the country and the world.
