CIO Review Recognizes Black Oak Analytics as Top 100 Data Solution Provider

Black Oak Analytics has been named one of the Top 100 Most Promising Big Data Solution Providers of 2016 by CIO Review. We are proud to be the only Arkansas-based company on the list, and look forward to representing our home state in the Big Data software industry over the coming years.

Black Oak was formed in 2007, combining years of applied industry data management and experience with academic research through an exclusive partnership between the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR). Our team brings together cutting edge academic research with veterans in the data industry who have overseen some of the world’s largest marketing databases and data solutions.

Through our High Performance Entity Resolution (HiPER) data integration software, Data Driven Marketing Solutions, and custom analytics, we work with organizations across industries to provide a variety of valuable business solutions. From helping establish Data Governance Programs to helping clients gain a longitudinal 360-degree of their customers, we are committed to working with our clients to leverage Big Data solutions.

And while Arkansas might not be the first place people think of when they think about Big Data, maybe it should be. We are home to several information science businesses. UALR has a variety of computer and information science degrees designed for people working with Big Data. Students at UALR are getting degrees in a variety of Big Data graduate programs including Bioinformatics, Business Analytics, Information Assurance, Data Science, Integrated Computing, and Information Quality. Black Oak has a lasting strong relationship with UALR, especially the College of Engineering and Information Technology and the Information Quality Graduate Program.
